The latter are thronged by monkeys, who understand that they can't be mistreated there. In temples across India, he looks in the shape of a fighter with a face that stands erect like a person. Because of his service to Rama, Hanuman is regarded as a model for most human devotion (bhakti).
Hanuman is also a popular figure among Buddhists in Central, Southeast, and East Asia, and during those regions many temples are built because of his worship and districts of towns bear his title.
Outside India, however different stories are told of him. Although chaste in the Sanskrit tradition, for instance, he's wives and children in different traditions. He's been identified as the inspiration for its fighter hero of the terrific Chinese poem Xiyouji ("Journey to the West"). In India Hanuman is admired from the nationalist Hindu organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, also he's been depicted as a fierce superhero in a series of comic novels. Even the Hanuman langur (Semnopithecus entellus), one of the most usual Indian actors, is called after the Ramayana character.
While still a baby, Hanuman, the child of a nymph from the wind god, tried to fly up and catch the Sun, which he mistook for a fruit. After Hanuman continued to misbehave, powerful sages chased him to overlook his magic powers, like the ability to fly or to become infinitely large, until he had been reminded of these. Hanuman led the reptiles to assist Rama, an avatar (incarnation) of the god Vishnu, recuperate Rama's wife, Sita, by the demon Ravana, king of Lanka (likely not the present-day Sri Lanka). Having been reminded of his powers by Jambavan, the king of the bears, Hanuman crossed the strait between India and Lanka in one jump, despite the attempts of demonesses to stop him by swallowing him or his darkness. Hanuman flew to the Himalayas and returned with a mountain filled with medicinal herbs to restore e in Rama's military.

भूत पिसाच निकट नहिं आवै ।

नासै रोग हरै सब पीरा ।
